The members of OoLEN are dedicated to developing a rigorous scientific explanation for the origin of life. As a community, we believe that academic rigor is strengthened by open and interdisciplinary exchanges. We believe that scientific work is most reliable when it is accessible to everyone.
OoLEN supports the open exchange of scientific data and software wherever possible. We encourage you to reach out to members to enforce this goal. The community actively works to facilitate more robust and transparent approaches to peer review. If you are an editor looking for qualified reviewers please check our members page with their associated expertise.
Our goals are: development and dissemination of knowledge, techniques, data, software, and standards required to understand the origin of life. This includes creating systems to record contributions and allocate credit for scientific work beyond publications. This goal is directly linked to those of creating a healthy community and facilitating and open exchange of ideas.
